At United Presbyterian Church, we gather weekly to share together with each other and with God. We praise God through inspirational music and singing; we listen to God's word read and proclaimed to us; we share together our joys and our concerns, our blessings and our sadness and together we bring these and each other before God in prayer; we bring to God our gifts of self and goods, giving as we are able; and we go out to work together in the world, proclaiming God to those around us through our words, our actions and our lives.

We celebrate the sacrament of communion monthly, usually on the first Sunday of the month. The Wednesday following Sunday morning communion, the pastor and Deacons take communion to those who are not able to join us in worship. If you would like to receive communion or you know someone who would, please contact the church office and let us know.

What's Presbyterian worship like?
The order of a Sunday worship service in a Presbyterian church is determined by the pastor and the session, the church's governing body. It generally includes prayer, music, Bible reading and a sermon based upon scripture. The Sacraments, a time of personal response/offering, and a sharing of community concerns are also parts of worship.
